Kenya: Residents Warned Over Witchcraft
By Lydia Ngoolo, 20 June 2013
Mwingi deputy police boss Leonard Baini has warned the residents against reporting witchcraft cases to police. He said witchcraft is not yet recognized by law but it has made many residents lynch others.
Baini was speaking yesterday at his office following a death of elderly man who was killed by his family members. He said witchcraft has been privileged in Mwingi and has made many suspects end up being killed.
