Namibia: Govt Rolls Out Drought Relief in Kunene

Epupa — Government has started distributing drought relief food to communities in areas that are severely affected by the drought, including the hardest-hit Kunene Region.

Drought relief food distribution teams in the Kunene Region have been out in the field distributing food to drought ravaged communities since last week. New Era visited some of the first recipients in the Opuwo and Epupa constituencies who said the food aid was long overdue and they were grateful that government was finally providing them with food.
