Arusha, Tanzania — The East African Community (EAC) will soon give its position on the controversial Economic Partnership Agreements (EPAs) which the European Union (EU) wants developing country trading partners to sign if they still want to do business with the EU.
The EAC's Director for Productive Sectors, Dr Nyamajeje Weggoro told East African Business Week during the Tanzania EAGC Agribusiness Expo 2013 held at Selian Agricultural Research Institute in Arusha, the EAC Secretariat has already documented a paper which details about the EAC stand on EPAs deal.
