Nigeria: Four Convicted Criminals Executed By Hanging in Edo

Edo State government yesterday night confirmed the execution of four convicted criminals by hanging whose execution has elicited condemnation from Amnesty International.

The international human rights group in a statement yesterday called on Nigerian government for restraint in carrying out the execution which it said was confirmed by a court yesterday in Benin City.
