Reigning Glo Nigeria Premier League champions, Kano Pillars are scheduled to come up against Spanish La Liga side, RCD Espanyol or Ghana Premier League champions, Asante Kotoko SC in July.
Kano Pillars could also confront Egyptian outfit, Ismaily SC in the Lagos International Football Tournament (LIFT).
The tournament, billed to hold at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos from July 25 to 28, will start off with the four clubs being drawn for the semi-finals rather than in a league format.
"It is taking place at the Teslim Balogun Stadium between July 25 and 28. The teams have assured they will attend the tournament with their first-team players. This is the maiden edition and it's going to be an annual tournament," LIFT founder, Mutiu Adepoju, who played for Nigeria between 1990 and 2002 at senior level.
Adepoju explained that the four clubs were entered for the invitational tournament after agreeing to participate.
"They are the first to indicate their interest of participating and that's why we picked them," said Adepoju.
