Egypt: As Part of Preparations for Today's Demonstrations, Governmental Departments, Banks and Hospitals Are Implementing an Emergency Plan in Anticipation of Any Developments.

An official source with the Central Bank of Egypt confirmed that banks have taken all required security measures including tightened security at ATMs. The source added that a plan was adopted to secure Central Bank headquarters.

Ain Shams University Hospital announced a state of emergency in preparation for the protests as it is the closest place to the Ministry of Defense, Abbasiya and Ittihadiya Presidential Palace.
