Kenya: Teachers Expected in Class This Morning, but Have Vowed to Stay Put

A spot check of various schools in Nairobi, Busia, Bungoma, Siaya among other areas reveals that learning remains paralysed, as teachers have not reported to work today.
KNUT's Wilson Sossion has urged teachers to keep away from classrooms despite an order by the industrial court to go back to work. Meanwhile KNUT officials are currently in a meeting with the kenya human rights commission at the KNUT headquaters.
