Malawi Teenager Sentenced to Three Years IHL for Theft By Servant

Blantyre — Resident Magistrate Court in Blantyre has sentenced young man to 3 years imprisonment with hard labour whilst his two compliance have been hit with 24 months respectively.

In a case brought before magistrate Jean Rosemary Kayira the three; Clement Henry aged 18, Alex Liphombwe aged 22 and Charles Thomas aged 34 stole money amounting to K700, 000 from a businessman Austin Tapuwa aged 45 from Chiphakati village, Traditional Authority Nsamala in Balaka district.
