Nigeria: FCT Police Nab Suspected Car Snatcher

FCT Police Command said it has arrested a middle-aged man for allegedly snatching a Toyota Sienna bus with registration number RBC 346 AH at a gun point.

A police source from the command informed our reporter that they received a distress call that a Toyota Sienna bus was snatched at a gun point by three armed men.

He said immediately the call was received, all the policemen were alerted to be on the watch out of the said vehicle which belongs to one Mr. Johnson a resident of Kubwa.

"As soon as the information was passed, the man was arrested in connection with the incident," he said.

When the FCT Police spokesperson, Deputy Superintendent Hyelhira Altine Daniel, was contacted, she confirmed the arrest of the suspect and said he is undergoing interrogation.

She said the vehicle that was recovered had just been released to the owner.
