Kakamega county risks missing out on its share of county allocations after it failed to failed to pass the county appropriation Bill within the deadline.
This follows failure by the county assembly to enact Appropriation Bill within the June 30 deadline as provided in the law. Yesterday it emerged that Governor Wycliffe Oparanya had declined to assent to the County Appropriation Bill due to extravagant demands by members of the County Assembly.
