Jubilant Grand Cape Mount Citizens over the weekend signed a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the multimillion Malaysian oil palm giant, Sime Darby Plantation, Liberia (SDPL) to take over and develop their land, opening yet a new chapter in the company's US$3billion investment.
The deal between SDPL and the people of Zodua Clan of Garwula District was sealed after nearly one year of intense discussion that satisfied both parties.
