Tunisia: Nation's 'Tamarrod' Protest Movement - 'We Have Nothing to Do With Any Political Party'
4 July 2013
Tunis — Some 170 000 people have signed the petition set up by a group of independent youths claiming to dissolve the constituent assembly, said Tamarrod movement (rebel) spokesman Mohamed Bennour at a news conference held on Wednesday.
He added that "Tamarrod" has nothing to do with any political party but that any party wishing to join it is welcome if its allegiance is only for the homeland.
