Egypt: Interim President Sworn Into Office

The head of Egypt's Constitutional Court, Adli Mansour, was sworn into office on Thursday as the country's interim president until early presidential elections are held.

Egypt's top army commander Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said on Wednesday that the army has agreed with political forces to suspend the constitution and delegate the head of the constitutional court as an interim president until early presidential elections are held.
