Somalia: Hirale - I Will Retake Kismayu Using Force

Kismayu- — who contacted Shabelle media station in Mogadishu last night said that he will retake the port city from the Raskamboni militia who are been backed by Kenyan troops in Kismayu

Bare who opposes Ahmed Madobe's militia is one of the four other leaders who wants to control Kismayu and has always welcomed the government decision to take the lead in forming a balanced administration for the region.

In his interview with Shabelle radio station last night, Bare said that he has a capable military to force out the Raskamboni militia which he accused of working for the interests of other countries in the region.

He also added that his troops had the biggest support from the locals in Kismayu as the Raskamboni militias are viewed as strangers in the region and no one welcomed their presence in the region.

Mr. Bare who is now based at the outskirts of Kismayu is believed to be regrouping his troops at a place located less than 5 Kms of the port city.

He is now in charge of the other troops of the four other self declared presidents who flew to Mogadishu after they surrendered to the Sierra Leon troops who they viewed as a neutral force in the region.

The four others have all chosen to unite with colonel Bare to fight off the Raskamboni militia who are now in charge of Kismayu.
