Kenya: Athlete Shot Dead By Police in Eldoret Raid

An Eldoret family has petitioned Inspector General of Police David Kimaiyo to investigate how their son, an athlete, was shot dead by police.

The family found the body of 22-year-old Dennis Kipruto at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital morgue yesterday almost a month after he went missing. His brother, Phillip Chebunet said the body had bullet wounds in the stomach.
