Angola: Fisheries Ministry to Drop in Import of Tilapia

Luanda — Angola's Fisheries minister, Victória de Barros Neto, on Thursday said here the sector intends to seize the water and climatic potentialities of the Angolan market to increase caught and reduce the import of tilapia, Angop has learnt.

The official said so at the opening ceremony of the first national forum of artisanal fishery and communal aquiculture, in Luanda, adding that the Ministry has been carrying out joint actions to place at the market product with greater quality and guarantee food security.
