Coast MPs plan to reject the VAT bill that seeks to tax foodstuff, saying the move will hurt Kenyans. Ganze MP Peter Shehe led the MPs in resolving that the Bill should be rejected once it is tabled in Parliament tomorrow.
Speaking at Benyoka Primary School during the homecoming party for Rabai MP William Kamoti, Shehe said the legislators are consulting on how to oppose the proposal.
