Namibia: New Housing Development for Ongwediva

Sean Prince Court, a secure complex at Extension 11 in Ongwediva, is the first development of its kind in Oshana Region with 50 units measuring between 99 and 136 square meters each. Claudia Lofty-Eaton of Remax Coastline Property, the sales agent responsible for Sean Prince Court said the units consist of two and three bedrooms of which each has a garage or a car port. Each apartment is fully air conditioned and they all have aluminium windows. Lofty-Eaton said the units sell at between N$528 000 and N$980 000. "Developers are effectively responding to the housing needs of the upcoming young professionals and property investors in the northern regions. We are happy to offer an exclusive and unique offering of modern living," she said.

The agency had an 'open house' exhibition over the weekend during which it sold quite a number of units, including a whole block of flats that was bought by a corporate company. Sean Price Court is 100 percent owned by Namibian property developers and it was funded by the Development Bank of Namibia to the tune of N$20 million.
