Somalia and the Somaliland region agreed during their second round of unity talks in Istanbul held Sunday to Tuesday (July 7th-9th) to establish a joint committee in Hargeisa to manage air traffic control and equitable revenue sharing.
In a communiqué signed by Somali Minister of Interior and National Security Abdikarim Hussein Guled and Somaliland regional Trade Minister Mohamed Abdi Omar, the two sides also agreed to meet again in Turkey in 120 days to continue talks.
