Angola, Algeria Prioritise Geology and Mining Training

The technical updating and training of Angolan cadres in Algeria are the priorities of the co-operation between the two countries in the domain of geology and mining, says the Minister of the sector, Francisco Queirós.

The official said so to the press, at the final of a meeting with the Algeria's Minister of Energy, Youcefi Yousfi, adding that the definition of training strategies is due to the fact that that African country has good technical schools and universities.

Exchange of delegations and sending of students for training in Algeria in the domain of geology and mining is what we think that can be done immediately, he said.

He said that the sending of students to that country may speed up the implementation of the national plan of geology that will need a lot of staff.

For this reason we will seize the potential and the experience of Algeria in the domain of phosphate, iron and ornamental stones.
