Liberia: Two Deaf Liberians Laud Ellen

Two Liberians with impaired hearing have extended thanks and appreciation to President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf for rendering them assistance to travel to the United States. Mr. Jallah Kabbah and Louise T. Diggs were assisted with air-tickets to travel to the United States in a bid to undergo training and exposure in the field of Special Education and Rehabilitation of the hearing impaired.

In a letter addressed to the President, the hearing impaired expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the President for footing the bill for their air tickets.

They said, "We the deaf women and men in Liberia have and will continue to recognize your presence and good work which is geared toward uplifting our country."
