Gambia: SOS Hermann Gmeiner U.S Graduates 132

At least 132 students on Thursday graduated from SOS Hermann Gmeiner Upper Basic School at a ceremony held at the school grounds in Bakoteh.

Speaking at the ceremony, Wally Tamba, the guest speaker, said that education is a process, a systematic training and enlightenment for sustainable development, and the end result of achievement. He opined that every parent is a teacher, so character education essentially begins at home. He further stated that good parenting seeks to address the body, mind, soul and spirit of every child and develop the child's character for long-term growth and development.
