According to an article in Fraternite Matin (p. 16) Prime Minister Daniel Kablan Duncan said the government is committed to addressing youth unemployment and will soon be taking measures to create jobs. Speaking yesterday at a graduation ceremony at the National School of Statistics (ENSEA), Mr. Duncan underscored that the government is working to create an environment that allows business to thrive and foster job creation. To that end, he added, a task force dubbed Youth Employment Project or PEJEDEC has been set up.
