Liberia: Two Killed in Accident At Topoe Village

Last night was a scene of a terrible tragic motor accident in the vicinity of the MKK area in Gardnersville, leaving two dead and another seriously injured in the leg. It all started when two women riding along with a rider on a motorbike were moving toward the Iron Factory area in Gardnersville.

According to an eye-witness, the motorbike rider overtook a big yellow U. S. school bus that was running transportation on the Gardnersville Road and eventually ran into an approaching trailer truck.

The accident instantly killed the rider of the motorbike, one of the women riding with him and left another seriously wounded in the leg.

When our reporter got on the scene at about 7:30 p.m. the bodies of the woman and the motorbike rider were seen taken away by the police while the injured woman was rushed to a hospital.

The Gardnersville Road popularly known as the Somalia Drive had witnessed several tragic motorbike accidents that have claimed the lives of many persons over the past years.
