Nigeria: Anyim - Remittance By Nigerians in Diaspora, Highest in Africa Policy to Be Reviewed

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, has lauded the contributions of Nigerians in the Diaspora to national development with its $21 billion remittances in the last one year, saying it is the highest in Africa.

Anyim, who stated this at the weekend, during a press briefing on the 2013 Diaspora day and conference, in Abuja, said Nigerians in Diaspora were excelling in their various fields of human endeavours and have continued to contribute to national development, particularly in the educational and health sectors.
