Stigma remains a major problem

Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta travelled to Abuja, Nigeria, Sunday (July 14th) to attend an African Union summit on HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria, Kenya's Capital FM reported.

The AU Commission organised the summit, entitled "Ownership, Accountability and Sustainability of HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria Response in Africa: Past, Present and Future", in co-operation with United Nations agencies and development partners.

African leaders will review factors perpetuating the three diseases on the continent as well as governments' investment in prevention measures.
