Tunisia: Revenues From Fees Imposed On Gas Pipeline Crossing Tunisia Down 36 Percent - Secretary of State for Energy

Tunis — Tunisia's revenues from fees imposed on the gas pipeline carrying Algerian gas to Italy via Tunisia fell 36% during the first five months of 2013, Secretary of State for Energy and Mines Nidhal Ouerfelli indicated.

This drop hits the country at a time when Tunisia witnessed an energy deficit estimated at some 644,000 tonnes of oil equivalent (TOE) up to the end of last May, the official underlined, on Tuesday in Tunis at a periodical meeting of the Prime Ministry's information cell.
