South Africa: Civil Society Marches on Pollution Profiteers

Civil society organisations are going to answer Earthilfe Africa's call for action on Tue, 6 August 2013. Activists are going to confront Anglo American with the dirty truths of its planned coal-fired power station in the Lephalale area in Mpumalanga Province.

Participants are going to raise concerns about yet another coal-fired power station to be built further contributing to global climate change and threating local communities. The march is going to start at 9:00am from Pieter Roos Park.
