Busi's most memorable voting experience was when she was at university. Not only was she a student then, but she was also working full time, raising a toddler and taking care of her husband and their home.
It wasn't easy juggling so many roles. But this is what swayed her to choose a student council representative who could empathize with her. And this is why Busi will always prefer to vote for a female candidate.
In the run-up to Zimbabwe's elections, scheduled to take place on 31 July, we're bringing you the personal stories of what voting means to everyday Zimbabweans.
Each edition of My Vote Zimbabwe features one person's story in his or her own words. There's no presenter, no interviewer - nothing to get in the way of people's most memorable moments at the ballot box.
To protect the identity of the voters, we do not use their surnames or use their actual photos (unless specified otherwise).
