Egypt: Sisi - Armed Forces to Remain Egypt's Strong Shield

The Armed Forces pledged to remain Egypt's strong shield that protects its national security, said Deputy Prime Minister, Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief and Defense Minister Colonel General Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi.

The Armed Forces promise the nation to safeguard Egypt's security and stability and to shoulder their responsibility to the full, he said.

During a celebration held Thursday 18/07/2013 on the occasion of the 10th of Ramadan victory (6 October 1973 War), Sisi paid tribute to the martyrs of the war, who freed Egypt's land and restored its dignity and pride.
