Benguela — The number of tubercolosis cases recorded daily in Chongoroi municipal hospital are worrying the local health authorities, Angop has learnt.
The director of the mentioned hospital, Joquim Cipriano said to the press that 10 patients are assisted daily there, doubling the cases of the previous year.
The figure is due to mal-nutrition and excessive consumption of alcoholic drinks.
Awareness campaigns have been held to reverse the situation, he said.
