Angola: National Delegation Leaves Tuesday to Meet Pope Francis

São Paulo — An Angolan team comprising about 700 young people and Catholic missionaries that is participating in the world youth activities will move on Tuesday to Rio de Janeiro, to attended the reception to Pope Francis, on July 24, Angop has learnt.

The Angolan delegates will go to Rio de Janeiro after 10 days of stay in São José dos Campos, where they will participate in various religious, social and cultural activities, under the missionary week for the preparation of the meeting with the Pope.

The activities that mark the 28th edition of the mentioned event, instituted in 1984, by Pope John Paul II, will bring together in Rio de Janeiro over two million people.
