Ethiopia: Dry-Ports Enabling Swift Import Transport Services

Dry ports like Mojjo Dry Port are enabling the country offer better import transport services that enable to bring in imported goods at Djibouti within five days of their arrival. This is what ERTA learned from the Ethiopian Sea Transport and Logistics Services Enterprise.

According to figures from the Enterprise, its transport capacity has increased from mere 10 percent to 43 percent currently.

These figures got revealed as the newly in-charge Minister of Transport, Workineh Gebeyehu gave a visit to Mojjo Dry-Port.

The Ethiopian Sea Transport and Logistics Enterprise has 13 ships including the newly bought 7 ships.
