Ondjiva — Technicians of southern Cunene province in the areas of agriculture and environment matters may be trained in Algeria, meant to lessen the cyclical consequences of the drought in the region, Angop has learnt.
This was announced on Wednesday in Ondjiva city, Cunene, by the ambassador of that country to Angola, Marath Fath, who is there in a private visit, under the festivities of the 43rd anniversary of the province, marked on July 10.
The diplomat said the best manner of his government to support Cunene province is through the training in the specialty of irrigation system, development of techniques for maintenance and saving of water and forest protection.
