Bank Windhoek has sponsored N$100,000 towards the 8th annual SME Expo which takes place from 31 July to 2 August 2013 at the Nampower Convention Centre in Windhoek. Other sponsors of the Expo are First National Bank and the Development Bank.

Bank Windhoek will also take part in the Expo, with staff members of Bank Windhoek ESME branch present to assist clients and the general public with enquiries on their products and services, how to apply for a business loan, what the requirements are to apply for a loan and how the bank assess business plans. Bank Windhoek created a SME branch in 2000 in its efforts to contribute to the development of the Namibian economy by supporting small and medium enterprises.

FNB is also sponsoring the event with N$100,000. FNB has been part of the Expo for the past five years and continues to be a staunch supporter of the SME sector. The bank operates an SME division headed by Robert Eiman.
