Eritrea: Potable Water Project in Tensheai Commences Providing Service

Mensura — The potable water project in Tensheai administrative area, Mensura sub-zone, has been repaired and has started providing service to the inhabitants, according to Mr. Humed Fegi, head of economic development in the sub-zone.

He further pointed out that the potable water project that operates with solar energy includes 5 Km. long water lines, 3 water supply points and a basin that could hold 250 barrels of water, and that the finalizing of the project has created satisfaction among the inhabitants.

In a speech he delivered during the inaugural ceremony, Mr. Tesfalidet Gebremariam, Administrator of the sub-zone, called on the inhabitants to make judicious use of the project that has been built at substantial cost.

Ms. Gebriela Gebreleul, Ms. Letebrhan Gebrewold and Priest Gebreleul Kidane explained on their part that they were fetching water travelling for six hours and that the much expected finalization of the project has become a big solution to their living condition.

Tensheai is located 40 Km. east of Mensura.
