Kenya: Mutula Jnr Wins Makueni Senate Race

Wiper candidate Mutula Kilonzo Junior has clinched the Makueni senate race. Kilonzo Jnr. garnered 163, 232 votes. His main challenger Narc's Philip Kaloki came a distant second with 9,762 votes.Speaking after the announcement by the official announcement of the results by the IEBC, Kilonzo Jnr called on his opponents to concede defeat and work with him.

IEBC said that the voter turn out was 60.42%, total votes cast -180,329, Rejected votes- 619 .Total registered voters in Makueni were 298,474.
