The Kenyan government said it will not pay July salaries to teachers who participated in the four-week strike co-ordinated by the Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT), Kenya's Daily Nation reported Saturday (July 27th).
"If you miss to go to work, there are consequences. You only get rewarded for your service," said Education Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang.
