Zambia: MMD Suspends Lusambo

Opposition Movement for Multi Party Democracy has suspended it Die Hard Youth Wing chairperson Bowman Lusambo for bringing the party into disrepute.

Deputy party national secretary Chembe Nyangu said Lusambo had been given a 10 day ultimatum in which to exculpate himself.

Nyangu said Lusambo had continued attacking senior party members in public despite having been warned about the same.

"We have suspended Bowman Lusambo and he has been given 10 days in which to exculpate himself," Nyangu said.

Lusambo's letter of suspension is dated July, 25.
