Having Tahrir Square filled with fasting demonstrators is proof of renouncing terrorism and supporting the June 30 revolution, presidential media advisor Ahmed al-Moslemani said on Friday.
Moslemani made a brief statement which the Middle East News Agency broadcast.
Hundreds of thousands rallied in Tahrir in support of Defense Minister and army chief Abdel Fattah al-Sisi's invitation to take to the streets today and mandate the army to fight violence and terrorism.
