Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade Mounir Fakhry Abdel-Nour said that the production and business community in Egypt is one of the most solid sectors, which can face all challenges and cross the current stage.

During the expanded meeting organized by the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, the Minister noted that this sector faced several challenges in the past period and continued production to provide all services and commodities in the Egyptian market despite the difficult conditions witnessed by the country during the past two years. The meeting was attended by the a number of ministers, businessmen and investors.

Minister Abdel-Nour stressed the government's keenness on continuing work and setting the programs and plans required to accelerate development, support investors and producers, solve all problems in face of injection of more investments.

He made clear that the government will exert efforts to establish real projects that will be realized by the Egyptian citizens and business community.

For his part, the Investment Minister Osama Saleh said that the ministry has an integrated vision for implementation of a number of national development projects during the coming period, topped by the Suez Canal corridor development project. He stressed Egypt's full respect for all agreements.

Saleh pointed out that the ministry is exerting efforts to improve the investment climate through improving the current legislatives and providing more facilities to attract investments to the Egyptian market.
