Egypt: Israel - Egyptian Army Works Earnestly Against Terrorists in Sinai

Chief of the Israeli Ministry of Defense's political and security department yesterday said that the Egyptian army is seriously working against the terrorist elements in Sinai due to Egyptian security considerations.

In exclusive interview with the Voice of Israel Radio, he added that the Egyptian army commanders understand that terrorism threatens Egypt as well.

He further pointed out that Israel was willing to encounter any aggressions launched by any terrorist elements belonging to Al-Qaeda organization taking Sinai Peninsula as a springboard.
