It is a glaring fact that the former Mayor of the Monrovia City Corporation still has a deep sense of passion to help keep the city of Monrovia and its surroundings clean.
The former Mayor of the Monrovia City Corporation (MCC) did not hide her continued quest to make Liberia clean when she was spotted in Tubmanburg in Bomi County, specifically around the administrative hall where the July 26 independence celebration was held, helping and giving instructions to workers of MCC and that of the sanitation team of Tubmanburg.
"Hi guys, is everything ok with you? Make sure that this place is kept clean and that those wanting to use the toilets use them properly and also serve them with the necessary protection from going into the bushes," Madam Broh instructed.
To encourage the workers to efficiently carry out their duties, the former Monrovia City Corporation (MCC) Mayor gave those (Workers) US$100.00.
"This guy is a journalist and he sees what I am doing though it is not my duty as the lawmakers referred to me as non-governmental material, but I am doing in order to help the thousands of our people here from going to the bushes near this hall," Madam Broh said.
Madam Broh having recognized that this paper reporter was concerned about her presence and the instructions she was giving, she told this paper she has a deep sense of passion to help the entire Liberia if given the mantle of authority.
"This is my passion. The president purposely invited me here today just to make sure that this place is kept clean before, during and after the July 26, 2013 celebration in the three counties," she said.
Some of the people who saw Madam Broh helping and at the same time giving instructions to the workers rained praises and expressed the hope that the 53rd National Legislature will reconsidered its decision to confirm the former Acting Monrovia City Corporation Mayor.

Mary Broh has always done a good job for the city. I can not understand how the house and senate can have so much say over who's the mayor of Monrovia. These guys are guest of the City, not people who decides its leadership. How we allow things to fall so low, I will not understand.
