Egypt: Morsi Supporters 'Would Not Back Down From Their Demands'

Cairo — Supporters of ousted Egyptian president Mohammed Morsi have defied threats of removal from their sit-in protest in Cairo, despite the deaths of dozens in clashes with security forces.

Addressing protesters overnight, speakers from Pro-Morsi Muslim Brotherhood said they would not back down from their demands.

They claim that the reinstatement of Mr Morsi, who was removed from power by the army on July 3.

But the interior minister has warned them they will "soon" be dispersed.
