Nigeria: 137 Killed, 711 Injured in Bauchi Auto Crashes

Bauchi — The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Bauchi State Command, said at the weekend that 137 people died while 711 sustained injuries in 197 road accidents recorded across the state between January and now.

A statement signed by the Sector Com-mandant, Mr. Henry Sunday Olatunji, stated that the command recorded 197 road accidents within the period under review, and that 237 drivers were charged to court for violating traffic rules and regulations.
