Africa: Minister Highlights Brazil in Development of Education System in Africa

Luanda — The influence of Brazil in stimulating, promotion and development of education in African countries for its experience in the sector, was highlighted by the secretary of State of Higher Education, Adão do Nascimento.

Adão do Nascimento said so at the opening of the first technical meeting on education as bridge of strategy in Brazil-Africa, taking place in Luanda, with the representatives of Brazil, São Tome, Cape Verde and Mozambique.

According to him, it is fair to make an interchange of experience, a way that promotes interaction among the cultures through the boosting of the relations between Brazil and Africa, taking a special attention to Portuguese speaking countries and education as a means of privilege.

The official also said it is a very good sign as it enables to clarify the history, retrieve values and project and construct a future of prosperity.
