Eritrea: Youths in Afabet Sub-Zone Called Upon to Enhance Role Regarding Crime Prevention

Afabet — The office of Police Force in Afabet semi-urban center has called on youths in the sub-zone to enhance role regarding crime prevention at a seminar in which participants of the SWP were also present.

Heading the seminar, Lt. Amenai Zemede, commander of Police Force in the locality, noted the merits of Eritrean cultural values in connection with crime prevention, and called on the seminar participants to beep intact such values and the community to extend a helping hand to this end. He further called for further community collaboration in Police ventures as regards doing away with instances of crime, especially those related to youths.

The seminar participants called for the conducting of more seminars with a view to raising the awareness of the youth thereof, and expressed readiness to step up collaboration with the Police.
