Haikota — Farmers in Haikota sub-zone pointed out that rain-fed farming activities in the area, which involved timely tilling of farmland, are being conducted with remarkable pace in line with the preparations made to this end and the service being rendered by tractors at reasonable price.

Among the inhabitants, Mr. Hamd Lijaj and Mr. Idris Saleh explained that they could start the process in due time thanks to the renovation of a diversion canal in the area and the dispatching of ample tractors. They further lauded the government's support to farmers.
