A delegation from Malaysia and Taiwan visited Kismayo Monday (July 29th) to assess the humanitarian situation in the area, UN-funded Radio Bar-Kulan reported. Jubbaland regional deputy presidential claimant Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail Fartag received the visiting dignitaries at Kismayo airport upon their arrival. They were also given tours of the presidential palace, the port and Kismayo General Hospital. Members of the delegation vowed to address the humanitarian crisis in Kismayo, said administration spokesman Abdinasir Serar.
