Morocco: HM the King Calls for Mobilization to Ensure Success of Justice Reform

Casablanca — HM King Mohammed VI called for total mobilization to ensure the full implementation of the reform, moralization and modernization of the judicial system.

"The aim is not only to ensure that justice is served and grievances are dealt with properly, but also to foster a climate of trust which is conducive to development and investment", said the sovereign this Tuesday in a speech to the nation on the occasion of the throne day.

Expressing satisfaction that "an agreement has been reached regarding a blueprint for the reform of the judicial system for which the right conditions have been met", HM the King insisted that "however important the said reform may be, and regardless of the regulatory texts drafted and the effective mechanisms set up, it is the actual conscience of the actors involved which is going to be the real test, not only for the planned reform, but more broadly for the efficiency of the judicial system."
